Vera is an Intelligent Personal Assistant that can interact verbally and physically with its user. It does this by individually manipulating 360 copper plated pins in order to convey an emotion or a process. It would use language processing and A.I. to assist its user in daily tasks such as arranging meetings, automating the household and searching the web.

This is Vera’s standby mode. Meaning that the user has not said the wake word and therefore the device is waiting for instruction.

When the user asks Vera a question the pins oscillate much like a raindrop hitting the water. This indicates that the device is processing the command.

After the command has been processed, Vera replies with an audio responses. The pins move to indicate this, reacting to the frequencies of the audio.
